Council Statement

To our Panhellenic community,

In light of the recent events in our country, we want to express our support to those impacted by the United States Supreme Court decision on June 24th, 2022 to overturn Roe vs. Wade. As the largest women’s organization at Purdue University, we are aware that the recent supreme court decision may directly affect our members and elicit strong emotions in the sisters of our community. Our Panhellenic Community is committed to relationships built on trust through transparency, accountability and mutual respect.

Purdue’s Panhellenic Association is devoted to the advocacy of our members and to build a community of diversity, equity and belonging for all. As we continue to move forward, our organization hopes for all women in our community to educate themselves on resources available to them both on and off campus, as well as engage in thoughtful dialogue within their communities.

Purdue’s Panhellenic Association respects and supports the decisions and beliefs each individual possesses. We strive to continue to cultivate an environment that is both inclusive and supportive of every student on campus: Together, we are Purdue.

Respectfully,

Purdue University Panhellenic Association
